Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 1, 2026
Panther Law Group, PLLC, a Florida professional limited liability company ("Panther Law Group," "the Firm," "we," "us," or "our"), respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website at pantherlawgroup.com and any related pages that link to this Policy (the "Site"), how we use it, when we share it, and the choices you have.
This Policy applies to information collected through the Site. It does not govern information you provide to us in the course of an attorney-client relationship, which is protected by the attorney-client privilege and by our duty of confidentiality under Rule 4-1.6 of the Rules Regulating The Florida Bar and applicable law, and which is handled under our engagement agreement with you rather than under this Policy.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide to us. When you use the Site's contact or referral forms, request a consultation, or otherwise communicate with us through the Site, we collect the information you choose to give us — typically your name, email address, telephone number, and a description of your legal matter or the reason you are contacting us.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our service providers and advertising partners may automatically collect standard technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, general location derived from your IP address, the pages you view, the links you click, the website or advertisement that referred you, and the dates and times of your visits. We collect this information using cookies, pixels, and similar technologies, as described in Section 4.
Client portal. If we make a secure client portal available through the Site, we and our practice-management provider will collect the account information, messages, and documents you submit through that portal. Information you submit through a client portal in the course of an attorney-client relationship is governed by our engagement agreement and our duty of confidentiality, not by this Policy.
We do not knowingly collect precise geolocation data or biometric data through the Site, and we do not operate a mobile application.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- respond to your inquiry, evaluate whether we are able to assist you, and communicate with you about a potential or existing matter;
- perform conflict-of-interest checks required by the Rules Regulating The Florida Bar before we can consider representing you;
- provide, operate, secure, maintain, and improve the Site;
- measure how visitors find and use the Site, and how our advertising performs;
- show you our advertisements on other websites and platforms, as described in Section 4;
- send you information you request from us;
- detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fraud, or misuse of the Site; and
- comply with applicable law and our professional and ethical obligations.
We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not disclose the information you submit to us through our forms to third parties for those third parties' own marketing purposes. As described in Section 4, we do use advertising technologies that share online identifiers and information about your activity on the Site with advertising platforms. Depending on the privacy law of your state, that activity may be considered "targeted advertising," "cross-context behavioral advertising," or a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information.
3. When We Share Information
We share personal information only as follows:
- Service providers. We use vendors to operate the Site and our practice — for example, website hosting, email, telephone, and practice-management and intake software. These vendors may access personal information only as needed to perform services for us and are obligated to protect it.
- Analytics and advertising partners. We share the technical and activity information described in Section 1 with analytics and advertising platforms, as described in Section 4.
- Other counsel. With your direction or permission, and consistent with the Rules Regulating The Florida Bar, we may share information with co-counsel or referral counsel in connection with your matter.
- Legal requirements. We may disclose information where required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of the Firm or others.
- Business transfers. If the Firm is reorganized or its assets are transferred, information may be disclosed as part of that transaction, subject to our continuing confidentiality obligations.
4. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising
Cookies and similar technologies. The Site uses cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies to keep the Site functioning, remember your preferences, understand how visitors use the Site, and support our advertising.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics to help us understand how visitors find and use the Site. It collects information such as the pages you visit, how long you spend on them, and how you arrived at the Site. You can read about Google's practices at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and opt out of Google Analytics at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Advertising. We advertise our services on third-party platforms, including Google and Meta (Facebook and Instagram), and we use their advertising technologies on the Site. These technologies may collect online identifiers and information about your activity on the Site, and may be used to show you our advertisements on other websites and platforms, to build audiences of people whose interests appear similar to those of our visitors, and to measure how our advertising performs.
Your advertising choices. You can limit interest-based advertising in several ways:
- Adjust your Google ad settings at adssettings.google.com and your Meta ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram account settings.
- Use the industry opt-out tools at optout.aboutads.info (Digital Advertising Alliance) and optout.networkadvertising.org (Network Advertising Initiative).
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use privacy or ad-blocking browser extensions.
- Adjust the advertising identifier settings on your mobile device.
Opt-out preferences generally must be set on each browser and device you use. If you opt out, you may still see our advertisements, but they may be less tailored to you.
Do Not Track. The Site does not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals.
5. Data Security and Retention
We take reasonable measures to protect the information we collect. No website or transmission over the Internet is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Information you send to us through the Site — including through a contact or referral form or by email — is not encrypted end-to-end and should not be assumed to be confidential. Please see Section 8.
We retain personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy and to meet our legal, professional, and recordkeeping obligations, after which we delete or de-identify it.
In the event of a breach of security affecting personal information, we will provide any notifications required by the Florida Information Protection Act, section 501.171, Florida Statutes, and other applicable law.
6. Your Choices
- Email. If you receive email from the Firm and no longer wish to, you may tell us at any time using the contact information in Section 11.
- Advertising. See "Your advertising choices" in Section 4.
- Cookies. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. If you disable cookies, some parts of the Site may not function properly.
- Access and corrections. You may contact us at the address in Section 11 to ask about, update, or correct the information you have provided to us.
7. Children's Privacy
The Site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information through the Site from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information through the Site, please contact us and we will delete it.
8. Communications Through the Site Are Not Confidential and Do Not Create an Attorney-Client Relationship
Contacting us through the Site, sending us an email, or submitting information through a contact or referral form does not create an attorney-client relationship and is not treated as confidential or privileged. An attorney-client relationship with Panther Law Group is formed only when both you and the Firm sign a written engagement agreement and any required conflict-of-interest check has been completed.
Please do not send us confidential, sensitive, or time-sensitive information through the Site until we have agreed in writing to represent you. Please also see our Terms of Use.
9. Links to Other Sites
The Site may link to third-party websites for your convenience. We do not control and are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any site you visit.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Changes are effective when we post the revised Policy on the Site, and we will update the "Last Updated" date above. Your continued use of the Site after we post changes means you accept them.
